What our members say
The curriculum and approach they use with him encompass much more than the physical aspects of kenpo. The sensei’s discuss skills that children need in their daily lives, such as cooperation, respect, discipline, and focus. They individualize each aspect of what they are teaching, so the children can participate at their own level and move forward. We notice increased strength and physical skills. My son also talks about how “karate focus” helped him in kindergarten.
I began my Kenpo Karate training at Delta Martial Arts when I was thirteen. I was completely overwhelmed the instant I walked in the door. Now, two and a half years later, a lot has changed. During the past two years, I've come to know a lot a great people at the dojo, ranging from kids to adults. The instructors are great role models for me. Now I spend at least 5 days a week at the dojo, not only taking classes but assisting the teachers during class with other students, I just can't get enough. Delta Martial Arts has only had a positive affect on me and I encourage anyone with the desire to learn karate to stick with it! It is challenging, fun and will help you in all areas of your life.
